Climbing the Zugspitze (Video)

On August 24 2016, I climbed the Zugspitze (2962 m), Germany’s highest mountain.

At 5:08 in the morning, I set off at the parking lot in Hammersbach. My path up to the summit went via the beautiful Höllentalklamm, the Höllental via ferrata, and the Höllentalferner. Finally, after 6 hours and 37 minutes, a 2234 m ascent, and a 13 km hike, I reached the summit at 11:45.
